2025 Minnesota Senate District 56 Organizing Convention 

The Senate District 56 Republican Party is hereby called to convention on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at:

In-person registration will begin at 12:00 PM with the convention commencing promptly at 1:00 PM. Registration will close at 1:30 PM.

Expected adjournment before 5:00 PM.

There is no registration fee, but we suggest a donation of $75.00 to help us cover our expenses and fund our operations in 2025. This donation may be refundable through the State PCR program. Receipts will be available at the convention.

The Senate District 56 Republican Party Convention shall be composed of the Delegates and Alternates elected by the Precinct Caucuses held in 2024. The convention shall be held for the purposes of:

1) Election of Senate District and House District Officers. (These are the people that do the organizational basics. They take part in month meetings where decisions are made on planning, events, candidates, campaigns and campaign finance.) Those interested should self-nominate and review the job descriptions at the convention. The Nominating Committee can answer questions there.

2) Election of Delegates and Alternates to the  State Central Committee. (SCC delegates elect the State Party officers and approve the State Party Bylaws). Please, self-nominate at the convention.

3) Consideration of updates to the SD56 Constitution. (See Convention Documents below.)

4) Transaction of other such business as may properly come before the convention.
